Current Etihad Airways Airbus A320 Routes

Two of the Air Malta aircraft were returned but one joined the Etihad fleet permanently as A6-EIZ.

Former Martinaiar aircraft A6-EIB was delivered in 2008 in a special black scheme to advertise the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix with the lettering changed slightly each year to promote the upcoming event.

Etihad’s first brand new A320 arrived in November 2008 as A6-EIH.

Etihad Airways began Airbus A320 operations in August 2007 when the first of three leased aircraft from Air Malta arrived. These were followed the same year by Etihad’s first owned aircraft.

These were not new but were sourced from Martinair, Holland (3) and Indigo, India (3).

Etihad’s aircraft were delivered in a 16J/120Y configuration however in November 2010 A6-EIF and A6-EIG commenced service in an all-Economy 162Y configuration on services from Abu Dhabi to Alexandria, Calicut, Colombo, Damascus, Thiruvananthapuram and Peshawar.
